Confectioner Kristen Weisberg launched Toffee Traditions in 2006, building upon a cherished family legacy dating back to her grandfather, Eugene, who began candy‑making in the 1940s. Inspired by childhood memories of watching Eugene transform simple ingredients into exquisite toffee, Kristen began crafting the family recipe as gifts and local treats—eventually incorporating Toffee Traditions as a formal business in 2006. In 2021, she rebranded and opened a boutique storefront in Highwood, IL, bringing the brand from local markets to a refined, artisanal confectionery experience.
